Sweat 4 Annette
Thanks for taking the time to view this page. If you don't know I lost my beautiful mother Annette Mannen on May 16th 2009 to a long fought battle with ovarian cancer.
My mother was the most selfless people I have ever met, always putting others before herself. She dedicated her life to helping others by becoming a nurse and on top of that she was a full-time mother of 2 children.
She lived an extremely healthy lifestyle by always watching what she ate and working out religiously. She loved dancing, lifting weights, HIIT, and of course running. Fun fact, she actually placed 2nd in a bodybuilding competition in her mid 40s (competing against 20 year olds)...she was a badass to say the least.
In my eyes there is no better way to honor her life than by running a few miles and breaking a sweat! Any support is greatly appreciated whether that would be coming out to the race, making a donation that will go towards Ovarian Cancer research or sharing this page out to others!
